Sustainable Development - Introduction and Critical Perspective
Anne Gry Gudmundsdotte
Associate Professor,
University of South-Eastern Norway (USN)
This lecture introduce students to the political ideology behind sustainability concepts such as circular economy, green transition, and sustainable development, emphasizing how these terms are used by actors with very different ideological perspectives. The lecture demonstrates how various worldviews define environmental problems differently and therefore proposes different solutions, from market‑driven technological innovation to population control, institutional cooperation, or radical socio‑economic restructuring. By comparing these perspectives, the lecture encourage students to practice critical thinking, identify underlying assumptions in environmental arguments, and reflect on how political ideology shapes governance approaches to climate change and resource use.
Green Supply Chain Management
This lecture focuses on how to manage the supply chain in a way that minimizes the negative environmental impacts and maximizes the positive social impacts. It covers topics such as green procurement, green production, green logistics, green packaging, green reverse logistics, and green innovation, as well as the methods and metrics for assessing the sustainability performance of the supply chain.
Pr. Thi Le Hoa VO

Financial and Sustainability reporting: lights and shades
Alessandro Mura
Professor of Business Administration at the University of Cagliari, Italy
His research focuses on financial reporting, corporate governance, accounting choices in private firms, earnings management, and the effects of public subsidies on firm behaviour and performance. He has published in national and international journals and has participated in research projects on ESG reporting, financial transparency, and regional development.
Intercultural Management
This lecture aims to explore the different cultural strata and their interrelationships, in order to provide keys to understanding and useful frames of reference for the practice of intercultural management. The relationship with otherness, which derives from how we relate to the world, is inscribed in and constructed by interactions, situations and contexts. It is thus essential to develop the intercultural competence and awareness of managers who work with people from different cultural backgrounds.
