Visit from the University of West Alabama, USA

We were pleased to welcome a delegation from the University of West Alabama, USA, on November 9, 2021.

Dr. Mark Davis, from our partner university met Dr. Karine Picot-Coupey, vice-dean for International Affairs at IGR-IAE Rennes. They assessed our current partnership and explored new projects that will suit our institutions’ and students’ needs.

The cooperation currently includes a regular student mobility agreement, as well as a double degree agreement, at Bachelor’s level, under which several students from our respective universities have been able to get Bachelor’s degree and Licence from both universities. Other projects may be initiated in the next months. We also host a visiting professor from UWA, Dr. Amy Jones, during the international seminar, held each year in January for our Master 1 students.

Six IGR-IAE Rennes students are currently enjoying an international mobility stay at the University of West Alabama, either as regular exchange students or as double-degree students. Dr. Davis shared positive and conforting news from these students, who are making the most of their time in the U.S. We look forward to hearing from them and how this experience will have added extra value to their curriculum.
