The cafeteria UTOPI opens at the IGR-IAE: a fine example of inclusion for people with disabilities

From Tuesday 3 October, Cafet’ Utopi will be offering its catering services to students and staff at the IGR-IAE Rennes University School of Management.

True to its original mission, Cafet’ Utopi aims to offer a high-quality, affordable catering solution, directly adapted to the daily environment of the school’s students and professionals. With this new location, it aims to facilitate access to healthy meals using seasonal produce and promoting short distribution channels. The offer will be diversified, with main course and dessert formulas including a vegetarian alternative, sandwiches or soups in winter, a complete meal served in jars, as well as desserts, pastries and drinks.

What is Cafet' Utopi?

Cafet’ Utopi aims to contribute to the professional integration of people with disabilities.

It is an ethical and responsible fast-food service provided on site by Produit en Utopi, the service brand of Adapei 35, a major player in the social economy. Utopi brings together all the association’s ESATs (Etablissements et Services d’Aide par le Travail or Establishments and Services for Help through Work) and EAs (Entreprises Adaptées or Companies adapted for people with disabilities).

This organisation creates quality goods and services, helping disabled workers to fulfil their potential through socio-educational activities and developing their skills, while ensuring performance for their customers.
