“Subway Day” for the students of the Master in Franchising, Retail and Service Chains

On Thursday December 5, 2019, a “Subway Day” was organized for our students of the Master 2 Franchising, Retail and Service Chains (Master 2 in apprenticeship training and international Master 2 taught in English) – IGR-IAE Rennes – Université de Rennes 1, as part of the Center  in Franchising, Retail and Service Chains.

Cédric Giacinti – Country Director Subway France & Belgium, Patrick Réty – Subway Development Officer for Brittany – Pays de la Loire – Basse Normandie – and his team presented the Subway brand and its evolution in recent years. They shared their expertise on the fast food market. They also discussed issues related to network management, development and marketing. This amphitheater session was very interactive with a series of questions, answers, examples, concrete cases, etc.

These exchanges continued in the afternoon at the Subway Rennes Colombier restaurant where all the students were welcomed. After a guided tour of the restaurant, the students worked in teams on various issues related to human resources, management, performance and compliance with hygiene procedures and standards.
