Double degrees
IGR-IAE Rennes has double degree agreements with universities, in Germany, Canada, China and the USA. Incoming students coming to IGR-IAE Rennes under such agreements are registered in a French program, if their level of French is adequate, or in one of the Master degrees taught in English, depending on the type of agreement signed with their home university.
Studying at IGR-IAE Rennes as a double degree student
In order to study at IGR-IAE Rennes in a double degree, students from our partner universities should be nominated by the international affairs office of their home university, and follow the application as any other incoming exchange student. In parallel, students are expected to go through a simplified application procedure for the program of their choice, unless otherwise instructed by their coordinator in their home university. They will be registered in the program as regular students, with double degree student status, granting tuition fee waiver.

Franco-German agreement with the Christian-Albrechts-Universität de Kiel
After studying their Master 1 in Kiel, the German students come to Rennes for their Master 2 year. French students study their Master 1 in Kiel, and come back to IGR-IAE Rennes for their Master 2.
The German and French students receive the two degrees Master of the University of Rennes 1 and MSc of Kiel University only after they have completed the requirements of both degrees.
Franco-American with UWA
After studying two years in the Bachelor’s degree at University of West Alabama, American students attend the 3rd year of the « Licence International Business » at IGR-IAE Rennes. The following year, they attend the 4th year of the Bachelor’s degree in their home university. French IGR-IAE Rennes students study their Licence 3 in Rennes and go to UWA to attend the 4th year of Bachelor’s. Both American and French students receive both degrees upon completion
The first double degree has recently been awarded to an IGR-IAE Rennes student.
Franco-Chinese double degree program with ECUST in Shanghai
After studying their Master 1 at ECUST, the Chinese students come to Rennes for their Master 2 year. They receive the Master degrees from both the University of Rennes 1 and ECUST only after they have completed the requirements of both degrees.
French IGR-IAE Rennes students study their Master 1 in Shanghai, and come back to IGR-IAE Rennes for their Master 2.
Franco-Canadian with the University of Laval in Québec (3 double degree programs)
These double degree agreements include the Masters SICG, the Master in Financial Analysis, the Master in Accounting (taught in French) and the Master of Marketing.
Details on the conditions of the stay (duration, period of study) vary depending on the Masters attended.
